Surgery and Anesthesia - Routine, Soft Tissue and Orthopedic
- Mont Clare Animal Hospital offers a variety of surgical options, from
spaying and neutering to advanced orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries.
Procedures are performed in a surgical suite to help protect your pet from
the risks of infection. One of our trained technicians monitors your pet's
oxygen level, blood pressure and heart rate at all times.
Radiology - X-rays allows us to
quickly access what is going on inside your pet. Our new Digital X-Ray
machine allows for faster and
higher quality x-rays for pets of all sizes.
Ultrasound - Ultrasound allows us
to view the inside of your pet's organs. This aids us in the detection of
heart, liver, and kidney disease, tumors and more.
Dentistry - Animals need regular
dental care. Poor oral health in dogs and cats can cause serious health
problems. Cleaning your pet's teeth, removal of plaque and tarter, is an
important step in preventing dental problems.
Physical Examination - An annual
physical exam is the most preventative measure you can take for your pet.
Thorough physical examinations will alert you to any health conditions
before extensive tests and procedures are needed. We will provide you with
a yearly preventative disease program to keep your pet happy and healthy.
In-house Laboratory Diagnostics -
Our lab tests are performed in-house which allows for a speedy diagnosis
in a matter of minutes instead of hours or even days. Blood testing is
very helpful when determining illness. We also perform pre-anesthetic
blood testing prior to surgeries. This procedure reduces complications
associated with surgeries.
Vaccinations - Immunizations begin
at 6 weeks of age for dogs & cats. A vaccination program can prevent
infectious diseases.
